More than a hundred supporters, board members, staff and program participants enjoyed dinner and a fabulous evening of baseball in the Diamond View room at Prince George’s Stadium. The rain stopped just in time to let Tianya McMillan of M&T Bank and Resource Center President get the festivities started by throwing the first pitch.
Our annual fundraiser was especially significant this year as Prince George’s Child Resource Center marks 25 years serving children and families. Tianya congratulated our founding Executive Director, Marti Worshtil for her fearless performance and dedication and shared her plan to retire as of June 30. The evening was full of excitement and pride as two of our Family Support Center participants shared about their achievements that have been possible through participation in our programs.

We are grateful for your support and your partnership as we work to meet the needs of the children and families in Prince George’s County.
