Neither a Nor’easter nor the threat of a hurricane could stop us from celebrating the Resource Center’s 25th. October 7 was a glorious day and 1,400 child care providers, families and of course children came to Watkins Regional Park. This party was all about the children and everyone had a great time. We created a pumpkin patch, had fun activities along with a hayride, carousel and of course the incredible Wizard of Oz playground.
We have so many people to thank for this fun party including, funders, supporters and elected officials. MNCPPC could not have been more gracious and helpful. The Resource Center staff and board members made sure everyone had a great time. County Executive Rushern Baker attended and told the crowd that the “Resource Center has been terrific all 25 years and a great asset to us.”
