Ana is originally from El Salvador, born and raised there; came to the U.S at age of 12. She was successful in graduating from High School with Honors and college level courses including AP Biology. She earned her Associate’s degree in Nursing from Prince George’s Community College Nursing Program which ranked #1 Nationally FY 203-2024.
Ana joined Child Resource Connect in October of 2023. She currently works as a Bilingual in Spanish Home Visiting Nurse with Family Connects Prince George’s working closely with the Hispanic community. She has participated in various organization events such as the Greatness Grows Here Conference and has participated in local community baby showers.
Ana’s journey in the medical field began when she became a Certified Nurse Assistant. She worked at an Assisted Living Facility taking care of elderly residents with dedication and compassion. She then opened her horizons by working at Patient First Urgent Care Clinic where she triaged and assisted patients with varied medical needs. She gained great knowledge of the fast paced medical environment. Prior to graduating from nursing school, Ana, worked as a Patient care Technician at Doctor’s Community Hospital where she later completed her nurse residency and had her first job as an RN.
If she were a superhero, it would be to cure childhood cancer.
