Katina B. Kearney, Ph.D. is an early childhood education leader with 25 years of experience advancing equitable early learning systems, educator preparation, and school readiness initiatives. She currently supports professional development for prekindergarten teachers in Prince George’s County Public Schools and leads K&E LLC, where she partners with organizations to strengthen early childhood systems.
Dr. Kearney began her career as a public prekindergarten classroom teacher and early literacy coach in North Carolina, and has since served in several roles within the early chlidhood field, including a university faculty member and national thought partner in early childhood policy and practice. She holds a Ph.D. in Literacy and Early Childhood Education and brings strategic vision, systems expertise, and a deep commitment to ensuring that all children and families have access to equitable, high-quality early learning opportunities.
