Yacine was born in Senegal and moved to the United States as a young child, growing up in Montgomery County and Anne Arundel County. Her culture, values, and love for community shape everything she does. She joined Child Resource Connect (CRC) in April 2025 and now serves as both a Program Support Worker for Family Connects and a Community Alignment Specialist. With over 20 years of experience supporting children and families.
Yacine has held various roles in early childhood classrooms, such as ABA therapy settings, literacy groups, homeschool co-ops, and Head Start programs. She has a passion for helping children grow and connecting with families in meaningful ways. Yacine’s unique gifts include speaking multiple languages and bringing joyful energy wherever she goes. She is passionate about her family, her wider community, and is especially devoted to advocating for children with special needs.
If Yacine were a superhero, her superpower would be the gift of flight, allowing her to travel freely, explore new cultures, and see the beauty of the world.
In the event of inclement weather: CRC relies on Prince George's County Public Schools' (PGCPS) inclement weather policy to determine delayed openings, early closure, and full closure due to inclement weather.
Color codes are issued by PGCPS, available at pgcps.org and any local news site listing inclement weather delays and closings:
