Throughout her career, she has excelled as a trusted thought partner to senior executives, specializing in translating complex strategic visions into actionable, measurable reality.
Currently serving as the Strategic Programs Lead and Senior Educator at the United States Naval Academy, Yasmin architects robust partnership ecosystems and directs departmental financial operations. Her leadership has been instrumental in securing funding for emerging institutional requirements and managing complex curriculum governance to ensure 100% alignment with national accreditation standards. A dedicated mentor, she has provided professional and academic guidance to over 300 midshipmen while spearheading international capacity-building initiatives in collaboration with global partners.
Previously, Yasmin served as a Program Manager and Strategic Budget Lead at the Pentagon, where she managed a high-stakes portfolio exceeding $488M. In this role, she provided critical decision support to senior executives and Flag Officers, bridging the gap between high-level requirements and operational delivery for next-generation initiatives. Her extensive background also includes directing global intelligence operations and leading multi-disciplinary teams through high-tempo tactical environments as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer.
Yasmin is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, and a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Mathematics. She holds an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a DAWIA Level II certification in Engineering and Program Management. Beyond her professional achievements, Yasmin is a committed community leader, serving on the executive boards of organizations like Amiracle Kids and the National Society of Black Engineers, where she promotes STEM education and leadership development for the next generation.
