Shauna Berry Cooke, born & raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Shauna has lived in the DMV for over twenty years. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Kentucky State University and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky State University. I currently work as a Personnel Security Specialist for the Department of Education and am passionate about the care of all children.

In the event of inclement weather: CRC relies on Prince George's County Public Schools' (PGCPS) inclement weather policy to determine delayed openings, early closure, and full closure due to inclement weather.

Color codes are issued by PGCPS, available at pgcps.org and any local news site listing inclement weather delays and closings:

  • Code Red/Yellow: CRC offices are closed, and ALL staff are on leave.
  • Code Green: Staff are expected to work virtually (Offices are closed, and staff are not in the field) and follow regular work hours unless adjusted by program needs.
  • Code Orange/Blue (Delayed Opening): Staff are expected to begin work at 10am.
