Whedly Beautelus

Whedly is from Haiti. He attended various colleges and universities including the State University of Haiti, the Interamerican Defense College (Washington D.C.), and the University of Maryland Global Campus (Adelphi). 

He has earned graduate degrees in teaching, communication, international relations, and cybersecurity. He joined Child Resource Connect (CRC) in 2024 as a Family Support Specialist. Whedly has a diverse background in teaching, diplomacy, and policy development, among others. He is passionate about building more connected communities, fostering cross-cultural collaboration, and empowering underserved families. He is fluent in four languages: French, English, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. 

His favorite word in the English language is “Service”.

In the event of inclement weather: CRC relies on Prince George's County Public Schools' (PGCPS) inclement weather policy to determine delayed openings, early closure, and full closure due to inclement weather.

Color codes are issued by PGCPS, available at pgcps.org and any local news site listing inclement weather delays and closings:

  • Code Red/Yellow: CRC offices are closed, and ALL staff are on leave.
  • Code Green: Staff are expected to work virtually (Offices are closed, and staff are not in the field) and follow regular work hours unless adjusted by program needs.
  • Code Orange/Blue (Delayed Opening): Staff are expected to begin work at 10am.
