Join voices and urge Maryland Delegates and Senators to protect, invest and strengthen Child Care Scholarship!

Whether you are able to attend “Evening in Annapolis for Child Care” on February 12 or your commitments prevent you from being there, we have a way we can join voices and be heard!

Joining Voices members and Child Resource Connect staff who are going to be in Annapolis on February 12 will deliver copies of a letter to the Delegates and Senators from Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties.

“We are a part of the fabric of our communities – necessary so that parents can confidently go to work and children are in safe, nurturing learning environments. Families are counting on us, and we are all counting on your support. Please see what we do every day in action, and protect, invest in, and continue to improve Child Care Scholarship in Maryland.”

Please review the complete letter here: https://www.childresource.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Joining-Voices-sign-on-letter-Feb.-2024.pdf

Can you add your name to the letter by the end of the day on February 11?

Please use this form to be included: https://forms.gle/yPK75yLUUHUAuTdP8 (FORM CLOSED FEBRUARY 11)

Please share with the child care educators you know in Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties!

In the event of inclement weather: CRC relies on Prince George's County Public Schools' (PGCPS) inclement weather policy to determine delayed openings, early closure, and full closure due to inclement weather.

Color codes are issued by PGCPS, available at pgcps.org and any local news site listing inclement weather delays and closings:

  • Code Red/Yellow: CRC offices are closed, and ALL staff are on leave.
  • Code Green: Staff are expected to work virtually (Offices are closed, and staff are not in the field) and follow regular work hours unless adjusted by program needs.
  • Code Orange/Blue (Delayed Opening): Staff are expected to begin work at 10am.
