Prince George’s Child Resource Center’s annual premier event is here! Our event will be held at Prince George’s Stadium during a baseball game between the Bowie Baysox, a class AA Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and the Altoona Curve. Proceeds support our mission of creating healthy and nurturing environments for children by supporting their families and educating their caregivers. Each year, we provide family support services to 1,500 families and child care training to over 2,500 parents and early childhood education providers in Prince George’s County.
We fulfill our mission through direct services for families, training for early childhood education providers, and close collaboration with public and private agencies, we help ensure that: children have a secure bond with their parents and families; children grow up in homes free of abuse and neglect; families have access to high-quality child care programs; families have access to adequate housing, health care and nutrition; and children enter school ready to learn.
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation has awarded us a Matching Grant of up to $20,000 to support the programs of the Resource Center.
