Bowie Baysox informed us that Major League and Minor League Baseball have delayed their season until further notice. The Prince George’s Stadium, home of our annual Bowie Baysox event is closed due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Out of concern for the health and safety of all of our communities, we have made the proactive decision to cancel our event.

Prince George’s Child Resource Center’s annual premier event is here! The Board of Directors and Resource Center Staff cordially invite you for dinner and an evening of Bowie Baysox baseball to support Prince George’s Child Resource Center.
Our event will be held at Prince George’s Stadium during a baseball game between the Bowie Baysox, a class AA Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Proceeds support our mission of creating healthy and nurturing environments for children by supporting their families and educating their caregivers. Each year, we provide family support services to 1,500 families and child care training to over 2,500 parents and early childhood education providers in Prince George’s County.
We fulfill our mission through direct services for families, training for early childhood education providers, and close collaboration with public and private agencies, we help ensure that: children have a secure bond with their parents and families; children grow up in homes free of abuse and neglect; families have access to high-quality child care programs; families have access to adequate housing, health care and nutrition; and children enter school ready to learn.
