A Conference for Child Care Professionals
Thank you to everyone that joined us for the Building for Success Conference on April 28, 2018. We were honored to have as our guests our own County Executive, Rushern L. Baker III, who understands how important quality child care is for families. Steven Hicks, Assistant Superintendent at Maryland State Department of Education, is a champion for children and the child care community. William Kellibrew IV, our keynote speaker delivered a compelling message of resilience and overcoming adversity as he shared his own traumatic childhood. The audience cried with him and at the end stood up to sing with him. Most importantly we are grateful to all of YOU for the work you do every day, giving our youngest citizens a firm foundation for their future. There was an exciting variety of workshop topics scheduled for the day as well as great presenters. We hope you enjoyed the many exhibitors that were eager to share their products or resources with our attendees. Our goal was to bring you an amazing day so that together we can continue to create healthy and nurturing environments for children. Check out all the smiling faces below!
